The heat is on!
June is wrapping up with a July-like heat wave. And it could be a dangerous one.
The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday.
Thursday is going to be sunny in Westlake with a high of 95 degrees. Heat indexes -- where temperature and humidity are factored together -- are expected to climb over 100 degrees.
