Election Central 2011: Westlake Patch

Get all the information you need about the school board race here and on our Westlake Elections Facebook page.

Westlake voters will have the chance to have a big impact on the city schools in the Nov. 8 school board election.

In the coming weeks, you'll find detailed information about the seven candidates running for three seats on the school board both here and on our Westlake Election 2011 Facebook page.

We want to know which issues facing the city schools you're most interested in. With big upcoming construction projects and state funding cuts, there will be some challenges over the coming years. So send us any questions you have for the candidates and we'll do our best to get them answered.

Election Central will be the place to find everything you need to know before you vote. We’ll update the election links section with new stories during the next couple of weeks, so check back.

Thank you for providing election 2011 updates. It's nice to be able to go to one place for information.
I am anxious to see what candidate, Geoff Rapp, will bring to this 2011 election. I viewed his website yesterday www.betterwestlakeschools.org. I was really impressed with his past and present skills and experience. He has a lot of know-how in many areas. I believe he will be a strong contender in this election.
