Updated 10/21/12:
Thirty-two Westlake residents have given more than $1,000 to presidential candidates in this election cycle so far — and it's more than 3-to-1 for Mitt Romney.
Ten have given $1,000 or more to President Barack Obama, while 31 have given $1,000 or more to Republican challenger Romney.
But overall, more residents have given money to Obama — there have been 189 donations from Westlake residents versus the 129 donations to Romney’s campaign.
Patch has created an interactive database so you can see how much your neighbors are donating to the presidential campaign—and to which candidate they’re writing their checks.
The data is based on quarterly reports. Originally published with information through July, the information is now current.
We’ve included all cities in Ohio, so if you want to see what the campaign contributions in North Olmsted or Bay Village look like, go right ahead.
The information in the database was downloaded from the Federal Election Commission’s website.
