A Silver Alert has been issued after an 82-year-old man walked away from his nursing home early Wednesday morning.
William "Sonny" Tichenor left the nursing home on Center Ridge Road sometime after 1:30 a.m.
Tichenor is 5'9" and weighs 215 pounds. He has blue eyes, white hair, and a tattoo of a woman's name on his left forearm. He was wearing a light blue shirt, jeans, a jacket of unknown color, and moccasins.
Tichenor, who suffers from dementia, has spoken in the past of going to Cleveland or New Orleans.

I wouldn't blame the nursing home when you know nothing about the situation. If your child ditched school and came up missing would you blame the school
