Two men took off after trying to pay Dave & Buster's with counterfeit money.
They paid with the funny money -- three fake $20 bills -- around 7:48 p.m. on Oct. 7.
The suspects are described by Westlake Police as black. One is between 5'10" tall with a thin build; he wore a gray hoodie and gray baseball cap. The second suspect is about 5'6" tall with an average build, and was wearing a red fleece jacket.
The men left in a light-colored Chevrolet four-door car. An off-duty Westlake officer got the license plate number as the car sped out of the parking lot.
Police reported that the men also passed a fake $20 bill in Sheffield Village that same night.
The investigation is continuing.
