LAST CALL: Contribute to Patch's Valentine's Day Mix Tape

Tell us your favorite love song and we'll add it to a Spotify playlist.

Editor's Note: This is your last chance to send us a song for our Spotify Patch Valentine's Day Mix Tape. See the details below. Deadline is Monday 5 p.m.

Love is in the air, the birds are singing, and Valentine's Day is just around the corner.

Your special evening wouldn't be complete without a little romantic music, and we want to be your maestro. But we need your help.

Tell us your favorite love songs in the comments, and we'll add it to a Spotify playlist that we'll share with you on Valentine's Day.

So send us your Barry White, your Marvin Gaye, Frank Sinatra and, heck, even the Backstreet Boys. We'll add it to the list, but remember, this is a family website, so keep it PG. Prime time Patch has yet to be created.

We can't wait to see what you send us!

Nothing Compares to "Nothing Compares to You," although it's a pretty depressing love song. So I'll throw out a classic — Elvis' "Falling in Love with You."

I'll go with some faves from local acts - Bears, "Until the Very End" from Greater Lakes is an upbeat song about finding the love of your life. Very sweet! And of course, no discussion about Cleveland bands can leave out The Black Keys - and maybe this one isn't so much about love, but addiction: "Run Right Back" off El Camino.

Any other favorite songs from local bands?

I figured I had to throw some in before time's up. How about:

"The Promise" by When in Rome
"I'll Fall with Your Knife," by Peter Murphy (don't let the title fool you)
"Somebody," by Depeche Mode (sappy, but pretty much says it all)
"There is a Light That Never Goes Out," by the Smiths
"Standing," by VNV Nation
"A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square," by the Brian Setzer Orchestra (a slight nod over Harry Connick Jr.'s)
"Night and Day," by Everything But the Girl
"You Do Something to Me," by Sinead O'Connor
"I Get A Kick Out of You," by Frank Sinatra
"A Solid Bond in Your Heart," by the Style Council
