Citywide Spring Cleanup Days Coming in May

Ready for spring? May 2-6 and May 9-13 are Westlake's citywide Spring Clean-up Days. Whether you’re pruning the bushes or clearing out the basement, you’ll probably have some extra garbage.

All extra trash should go out on your normal trash collection day.

The Westlake Service Department reminds residents of these rubbish collection rules:

• Small limbs must be tied into bundles with nonmetallic fasteners.

• Tree branches must be no bigger than 4 feet long and two feet wide. Workers will not take branches over the limit.

• Thorn bushes or limbs with prickers must be bound into bundles no larger than 1 foot in diameter.

Then just throw your bundles, trash and cleaning debris out on your regular trash day. For questions, call the Westlake Service Department at 440‐835‐6432.
