Cars Broken into at Regal Cinema
The following arrest information was provided by the Westlake Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Two cars parked outside Regal Cinema were broken into on June 26.
Both happened after 5 p.m.
A North Ridgeville woman's 2006 Honda Accord had the front passenger window smashed. Sunglasses and an iPod (total value $450) were taken.
The driver's side rear window of a North Olmsted woman's 2006 Acura MDX was broken and two Nintendo units (total value $480) were taken.
Westlake police are investigating, but have no suspects yet.

A similar incident happened to my car recently, in a well-lit car park. Though nothing was stolen, but my windshield was smashed into smithereens. I assume that they mistook a bag in my car for something valuable but they didn’t get it. Rather, the contents were all over the place. Good thing, they did not steal some car parts like rear view mirrors and side mirrors.
