After eight months of long work remodeling, hiring and prepping, the new AJ's Urban Grill is set to open.

AJ's Urban Grill, located at 25939 Detroit Road in Williamsburg Square, will open at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 3.

Hours will be 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 11 a.m.-midnight Friday and Saturday. The restaurant will be closed Sundays.

AJ's Urban Grill is a relocating and a rebooting of the old A&J's Grill at the corner of Detroit and Canterbury Roads. That restaurant closed in April.

Since then, D'Italia has opened in the old A&J's Grill location.

The new AJ's Urban Grill is much larger than A&J's Grill, with a bar area near the front. The decor is warm tones on the wall, with rich, rustic woods and iron accents.

There is also a private room, called "The Crate," that seats up to 28 and can be used for holiday parties, bridal showers or any private event.
