A big gap was filled in the Promenade at Crocker Park when it was announced last week that Nordstrom Rack would be going into the former Borders spot.
More space will be opening up eventually as the next phase of development in Crocker Park, including the American Greetings world headquarters project, which has retail space in it, gets underway.
What stores, restaurants and businesses would you like to see come to Crocker Park? Maybe a Nordstrom, so you don't have to drive over to Beachwood. Or a home decor store. Or a popular restaurant.
Take our poll and tell us your ideas in the comments.
Thanks. We'll email you the next time we update this story.

I would love an Ikea, or a Wegmans, but I don't think there's enough room left at Crocker Park for either one.

I would love to see The Container Store or a cooking store like Sur la Table or Williams Sonoma

All those ideas are great, Cherie! Not so great for my wallet, perhaps... ;)

IKEA doesn't build in lifestyle center locations, they want highway visibility and need at least 30 acres minimum generally with lots of IKEA-specific parking adjacent. Not gonna happen at Crocker... Wegman's has no interest in expanding west to CLE. For the next phase of Crocker, look no further than Legacy, Beachwood Place, Eton and areas around them and pick stores not already on west side - and with generally more than 1 location in major metro areas. I think lululemon is a given, as is PF Changs, Pottery Barn, either Sur la Table (once announced for Crocker) or Williams-Sonoma, potentially Lush (mentioned above), Vera Bradley, etc... The Container Store is not presently in CLE and, if it comes, will be heading east first, to be nearer existing Crate, Pottery - and $. A full fledged Nordstrom, to me, seems a stretch - and, if one would open, it will be one of their new, smaller, 2-story, 140K sq ft stores vs. the 3 story, 210K sq ft store on east side. More likely is Von Maur, also mentioned previously for Crocker.. - a Nordstrom-lite that has made it to Columbus but not yet CLE. I'd also suggest that Crate & Barrel is not ready to build a new store in CLE... so don't think that's coming..

None. They have too many stores and not enough places to park. They should build more parking lots. Where are all the Nordstrom Rack patrons going to park? All the places in font of the old Borders are already taken by people going to the movies or somewhere else in Crocker Park.

I'd love to see more restaurants that aren't anywhere nearby-- Schlotzsky's, Jamba Juice, Corner Bakery or Au Bon Pain.
